Ingredients

2 (5 oz.) can(s)
tuna in water, drained
1 stalk(s)
celery diced
4 Tbsp
mayonnaise
1/2 tsp
mustard
1 tsp
sweet relish
1/2 tsp
seasoned salt or original mrs. dash
1/2 tsp
grated parmesan cheese
1/8 tsp
onion powder
4 (1/2 in. slice
french or italian bread
4 slice
pepper jack cheese

How to Make Tuna Melt

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a bowl, mix all ingredients except bread slices and cheese until well blended.
  • 2Toast the slices of bread lightly.
  • 3Place slices on a rack in a broiler pan.
  • 4Divide the tuna mixture evenly over the slices. Spread to the edges of the bread.
  • 5Top with tomato slices.
  • 6Sprinkle the top of each with 1/4 of the cheese.
  • 7Heat the broiler. Broil 4 inches from the heat for 3 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  • 8Serve open faced.
