Ingredients

  • 1 - 10 oz. boxes frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded italian cheese blend
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 package pillsbury refrigerated dinner rolls (can also use crescent rolls)

How To Make spinach pockets

  • Step 1
    Cook spinach according to package directions. Drain well and cool.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, stir together the cheese, onion and seasonings. Add cooked spinach.
  • Step 3
    Roll each roll to about double the size.
  • Step 4
    Divide filling among the rolls.
  • Step 5
    Fold over and pinch edges to seal. Cut slits in top of each pocket.
  • Step 6
    Bake 12 - 15 minutes at 400 degrees or until brown. Let stand a few minutes before serving with pizza sauce.
