  • 1 - 10 oz. box
    frozen chopped spinach
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded italian cheese blend
  • 1/4 c
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 pkg
    pillsbury refrigerated dinner rolls (can also use crescent rolls)

How to Make Spinach Pockets


  1. Cook spinach according to package directions. Drain well and cool.
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the cheese, onion and seasonings. Add cooked spinach.
  3. Roll each roll to about double the size.
  4. Divide filling among the rolls.
  5. Fold over and pinch edges to seal. Cut slits in top of each pocket.
  6. Bake 12 - 15 minutes at 400 degrees or until brown. Let stand a few minutes before serving with pizza sauce.
