4 slicepumpernickel bread

4-6 slicedeli-style pastrami

2-3 slicebaby swiss cheese

1 c(about) cole slaw

·spreadable butter or margarine
How to Make Rachel Sandwiches
- Preheat griddle.
- Assemble sandwiches: on two slices pumpernickel bread, pile pastrami, then layer cheese. Put two ice cream scoops of cole slaw on each sandwich. Top with remaining slice of bread.
- Butter the outside of the top slice of bread. Place butter side down on griddle, butter top side. Cook until toasty, turn over, and toast remaining side. Slice and serve.
