Ingredients

  • 1 - wide size sourdough bread, unsliced
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 teaspoons dijon style mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
  • 6 ounces thinly sliced ham
  • 6 ounces thinly sliced turkey
  • 6 slices swiss cheese
  • - melted butter

How To Make molly brown

  • Step 1
    Slice bread lengthwise, trim crust from crust.
  • Step 2
    Flatten each slice with rolling pin.
  • Step 3
    Combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and white pepper.
  • Step 4
    Spread mayonnaise mixture on each slice of bread.
  • Step 5
    Layer ham, turkey and Swiss cheese on each slice. ( Use amount of ham, turkey and cheese as needed, not necessarily the amounts mentioned.)
  • Step 6
    Roll up sandwich: secure with toothpick.
  • Step 7
    Brush with melted butter and place on baking sheet.
  • Step 8
    Bake in oven that has been preheat to 375* for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serves5-6
  • Step 9
    A variation called Horace Tabor: Use roast beef, turkey and cheddar cheese instead of ham and Swiss cheese.
