    wide size sourdough bread, unsliced
  • 1/3 c
  • 2 tsp
    dijon style mustard
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp
    white pepper
  • 6 oz
    thinly sliced ham
  • 6 oz
    thinly sliced turkey
  • 6 slice
    swiss cheese
  • ·
    melted butter

How to Make Molly Brown


  1. Slice bread lengthwise, trim crust from crust.
  2. Flatten each slice with rolling pin.
  3. Combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and white pepper.
  4. Spread mayonnaise mixture on each slice of bread.
  5. Layer ham, turkey and Swiss cheese on each slice.
    ( Use amount of ham, turkey and cheese as needed, not necessarily the amounts mentioned.)
  6. Roll up sandwich: secure with toothpick.
  7. Brush with melted butter and place on baking sheet.
  8. Bake in oven that has been preheat to 375* for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. A variation called Horace Tabor: Use roast beef, turkey and cheddar cheese instead of ham and Swiss cheese.
