Ingredients

  • 1 - green pepper
  • 1 - onion
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can tomatoes, crushed
  • 6 - italian sausage links
  • 6 - hoagie rolls

How To Make italian sausage hoagies

  • Step 1
    Slice the green pepper and onion into small strips.
  • Step 2
    Place sausage links in a skillet and add enough water to almost cover the links. Boil for 30 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Drain the remaining water from the skillet. Add the tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes. Arrange the pepper and onion over the sausage links.
  • Step 4
    Cover the skillet and simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes, until pepper and onion are soft. Place links on hoagie rolls and top with the sauce and peppers and onions.
