How to Make Italian Sausage Hoagies
- Slice the green pepper and onion into small strips.
- Place sausage links in a skillet and add enough water to almost cover the links. Boil for 30 minutes.
- Drain the remaining water from the skillet.
Add the tomato sauce, crushed tomatoes.
Arrange the pepper and onion over the sausage links.
- Cover the skillet and simmer over low heat for about 15-20 minutes, until pepper and onion are soft.
Place links on hoagie rolls and top with the sauce and peppers and onions.
