Ingredients
- 1/3 cup onion, chopped finely
- 1/3 cup celery, chopped finely
- 1/2 clove garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons vegetable shortening or oil
- 1-10.5 oz can tomato soup, condensed
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice (can use vinegar)
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 4 - drops hot pepper sauce (optional)
- 1 pound hot dogs
How To Make festive franks

Step 1In heavy skillet, brown onion, celery and garlic in shortening or oil.

Step 2Stir in rest of ingredients, except hot dogs. Simmer 3 to 5 minutes.

Step 3Add hot dogs. Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
