Ingredients
- 2 cups sliced peeled tart apple
- 5 teaspoons butter
- 2/3 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 6 tablespoons cream cheese
- 2 teaspoons powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 slices raisin bread
- 4 slices muenster cheese
How To Make cinnamon-apple & muenster sandwich

Step 1In a large skillet, saute apple slices in 1 teaspoon butter until tender. Meanwhile, in a small skillet, cook and stir the walnuts over medium heat for 2 minutes or until lightly toasted.

Step 2In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, confectioners' sugar, honey and cinnamon until smooth. Stir in walnut mixture. Butter 4 slices of bread and place buttered side down in a buttered, hot skillet. Spread the slices of bread with the cream cheese mixture; layer with Muenster cheese and apple slices. Butter one side of the remaining bread slices and place on top, butter on the outside.

Step 3Toast sandwiches for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cheese is melted.
