#10 sandwich
This recipe comes from a little restaurant in Carlsbad NM. Our family favorite. Depending on how many sandwiches you are planning to make, will depend on how much of each ingredient you will need. I just put the basic amounts.

Ingredients
- 1 package thin sliced turkey (about 1 #)
- 1 package provolone cheese
- 2 large - avocados
- 2 cans chopped green chilies
- 1 loaf - english toasting bread (from wal mart)
How To Make #10 sandwich

Step 1Work quickly so the toast will not burn. Get all ingredients ready before you start to assemble sandwiches. Separate turkey and cheese, slice avocados and open cans of green chilies. Lightly butter both sides of bread.

Step 2Put 2 slices of buttered bread in skillet. Toast then turn over and start toasting the other side. As soon as you turn the bread over, top with 3-4 slices of the turkey, folded. Next top with 1 t green chilies (more to taste), 1-2 slices of provolone cheese then add 3-4 slices of avocado. Top with other piece of toast then mash down with spatula to melt cheese. Transfer to plate and cut diagonally. Serve with your choice of chips, mine would be Lays original.
