This is such an easy, but oh so good, way to prepare a pork loin roast. The rub is so good, but has a real bite to it because of the cracked pepper. Enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds boneless pork loin roast
  • 2 tablespoons cracked black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

How To Make herb crusted rub for pork loin roast

  • Step 1
    Pat pork roast dry with paper towel. In small bowl combine all rub ingredients well and apply to ALL surfaces of the pork roast.
  • Step 2
    Place roast in a shallow pan and roast in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour (20 min. per lb.), until internal temp. reads 145 degrees.
  • Step 3
    Remove from oven and let rest about 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
