This is such an easy, but oh so good, way to prepare a pork loin roast. The rub is so good, but has a real bite to it because of the cracked pepper. Enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 3 lb
    boneless pork loin roast
  • 2 Tbsp
    cracked black pepper
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tsp
    dried basil
  • 2 tsp
    dried rosemary
  • 2 tsp
    dried thyme
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt

How to Make Herb Crusted Rub for Pork Loin Roast

Step-by-Step

  1. Pat pork roast dry with paper towel. In small bowl combine all rub ingredients well and apply to ALL surfaces of the pork roast.
  2. Place roast in a shallow pan and roast in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour (20 min. per lb.), until internal temp. reads 145 degrees.
  3. Remove from oven and let rest about 10 minutes before slicing to serve.
