Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 - lb boneless rib roast
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 ounce butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 - diced shallots
  • 3/4 cup red wine
