I really love this dish, it's tasty,hearty, and ready when you are. If you like things sweeter you can add a little brown sugar. Make sure to be very careful with the peppers they are very hot.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds pork ribs
- 1/2 cup chili sauce
- 1/2 cup apricot preserves
- 1-2 - chipotle pepper in adobo
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons crushed garlic
- 1 small onion(chopped)
- 1/2 - green bell pepper(chopped)

Step 1Turn on broiler, cut the rib slabs in half.Place them on a baking sheet, sprinkle with salt and pepper.

Step 2Brown each side for 5 minutes. Meanwhile , chop the chipotle peppers,and mix with the chili sauce,preserves,soy sauce, and garlic .

Step 3In a 7 quart slow cooker, place the ribs, pour the sauce over them , add onions, and green pepper. Cook low for 4-1/2 hours.

Step 4Skim fat off of sauce, strain, and serve with the ribs.
