It was a Perfect Saturday to grill and smoke some great bbq! I hope you give these a try - the rub is sweet and spicy and y'all know that is a great combination for pork (:

Ingredients

  • - 3 1/2 to 4 pounds st. louis style cut rib slab
  • 1/2 - recipe https://www.justapinch.com/recipes/sauce-spread/sauce-spread-other-sauce-spread/texas-grillin-rub.html?p=1
  • 3 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
  • - hickory and mesquite wood

How To Make smokin' st. louis cut ribs - texas style

  • Step 1
    Get your smoker going and bring the temperature up to 235 - 250 degrees.
  • Step 2
    Prep your ribs if needed and rub the slab down on both sides with half a recipe of grillin' rub. Let rest 30 minutes while smoker is heating up.
  • Step 3
    Place slab meat side down. Smoke for 45 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Flip and smoke for another 45 minutes.
  • Step 5
    Bring them inside and place them on aluminum foil. Drizzle with the worcestershire sauce and wrap them.
  • Step 6
    Place back on the grill for another hour.
  • Step 7
    Bring them back inside and brush with your favorite bbq sauce.
  • Step 8
    Place them back on the grill to caramelize for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
