Smoked pork and ham with mustard, pickles, onion rings and provolone stacked high, pressed and grilled to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 2 - loaves cuban bread
  • 1 cup yellow mustard
  • 1 cup citrus mojo dressing
  • 2/3 cup 4r signature barbecue sauce
  • 10 slices provolone cheese (cut in half diagonally)
  • 24 slices dill pickles (cut in thin halves, long ways)
  • 24 ounces sliced 4r smoked ham (or preferred smoked ham)
  • 20 ounces sliced 4r smoked pork (or preferred smoked pork)
  • 16 - fried beer-battered onion rings
  • 8 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil

How To Make smoked cuban sandwich

  • Step 1
    Cut Cuban bread in half long ways.
  • Step 2
    Spread mustard and citrus mojo dressing evenly on both sides of bread.
  • Step 3
    Layer the sandwich starting with the pickle slices, ham, and pork.
  • Step 4
    Drizzle 4R Signature barbecue sauce, fried onion rings and top with the slices of provolone.
  • Step 5
    Place other piece of bread on top and cut into 4 equal pieces
  • Step 6
    Lightly coat bread with extra virgin olive oil and grill on panini press for approximately 3 minutes or until cheeses and meats are warm.
  • Step 7
    Cut sandwiches diagonally. Serve.
