The pork chops are so tender, and the rice has the best flavor. This is so easy to make and can be made for a crowd. Serve just this for an easy dinner or add some other sides to compliment it.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 - thick sirlion pork chops
  • 2-3 bags boil in bag rice
  • 1-2 can cream of chicken or mushroom soup
  • 1 large yellow bell bepper( or green)
  • 1 large red bell pepper( or green)
  • 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 3 tablespoons oil, canola or veg

How To Make pork chops & rice

  • Step 1
    Mix all spices in a small bowl and sprinkle on both sides of the pork chops. Boil rice as directed, drain well and mix cans of soup in. ( can salt if you want)
  • Step 2
    Heat oil and sear both sides of pork chops, drain and place in a large casserole dish.
  • Step 3
    Slice peppers in strips ( or chunks) remove stems from mushrooms( if you want, I did) spread over pork chops. Spread rice on top , cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes at 350.
