Ingredients

  • 6 - pork chops
  • 1/2 - onion, chopped
  • 1/2 - green pepper, chopped
  • 3 - garlic cloves, chopped
  • 1 - bay leaf
  • 1 tablespoon green olives
  • 1 teaspoon capers
  • 2 cans tomato sauce
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 bunch cilantro, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 - green plantain
  • - salt/pepper

How To Make pork chops fricasse with green plaintains

  • Step 1
    In a large skillet, put olive oil and brown pork chops on both sides.
  • Step 2
    remove and place aside,add in the rest of the ingredients.(except the green plantain)
  • Step 3
    then place the pork chops back in.
  • Step 4
    peel and cut the green plantain in 1/2 inch pieces.
  • Step 5
    add to the pork chops and combine, cover and simmer about 30 mins. stirring occasionally...serve with white rice.
