    onion, chopped
  • 1/2
    green pepper, chopped
  • 3
    garlic cloves, chopped

    bay leaf
  • 1 Tbsp
    green olives
  • 1 tsp
  • 2 can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c
    white wine
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 1 bunch
    cilantro, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil

    green plantain

How to Make Pork Chops Fricasse with Green Plaintains


  1. In a large skillet, put olive oil and brown pork chops on both sides.
  2. remove and place aside,add in the rest of the ingredients.(except the green plantain)
  3. then place the pork chops back in.
  4. peel and cut the green plantain in 1/2 inch pieces.
  5. add to the pork chops and combine, cover and simmer about 30 mins. stirring occasionally...serve with white rice.
