I have not yet made this, but it sounds yummy so I'm sharing before I make it. I bought ingredients to make but as of today I need to eat the stuff I made 2 days ago first. LOL

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried rubbed sage
  • 1 tsp
    lemon zest, grated
  • 2 large
    eggs, whisked
  • 1/4 c
    flour, seasoned with salt, pepper to taste
  • 4 c
    pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 2 Tbsp
    olive oil

How to Make Parmesan Sage Pork Chops

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Mix bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried rubbed sage and grated lemon peel in a bowl.
  2. On a plate put flour seasoned with salt & pepper. Coat chops with flour. Dip in egg. Then dip in bread crumb mixture.
  3. Melt butter & Olive Oil in an oven-proof skillet. Brown chops until golden. Transfer to oven and bake until meat thermometer registers 150 degrees F. About 20 min. or so.
