I have not yet made this, but it sounds yummy so I'm sharing before I make it. I bought ingredients to make but as of today I need to eat the stuff I made 2 days ago first. LOL

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon dried rubbed sage
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
  • 2 large eggs, whisked
  • 1/4 cup flour, seasoned with salt, pepper to taste
  • 4 cups pork chops (1 inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

How To Make parmesan sage pork chops

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Mix bread crumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried rubbed sage and grated lemon peel in a bowl.
  • Step 2
    On a plate put flour seasoned with salt & pepper. Coat chops with flour. Dip in egg. Then dip in bread crumb mixture.
  • Step 3
    Melt butter & Olive Oil in an oven-proof skillet. Brown chops until golden. Transfer to oven and bake until meat thermometer registers 150 degrees F. About 20 min. or so.
