Kielbasa in Apricot Rum Sauce
The sweet preserves gets balanced out with the lemon juice, mustard and rum. According to my husband, this sweet & sour sauce takes the kielbasa to another level of goodness. It is sure way to quickly serve up a tasty meal or as a delicious appetizer for a party.
I originally received this recipe last year at one of my Polish cooking classes. I adjusted the amounts of ingredients to my liking and added the spicy rum.
1 lbpolish kielbasa, smoked
1 capricot or peach preserves
2 Tbsplemon juice
3 Tbspspicy rum, such as lady bligh
1 Tbspdijon mustard or chipotle
1/3 tspginger powder
