I use St. Louis Pork Ribs.They have more meat when your feeding a family.I use three methods of cooking. Made these for my grandson who is in THE UNITRD STATES AIRFORCE He was deployed to Afghanistan next week, He asked for my ribs. He loves them. 2/10/14

Ingredients

  • 2 - slabes st.louis ribs
  • 3 tablespoons montreal steak seasoning
  • 6 cloves garlic cut in half
  • 2 - whole ancho chiles (seeded)
  • 2 cups karl's bbq sauce ( or your favorite sauce )

How To Make karl's bbq ribs

  • Step 1
    Wash the ribs and turn over. Scrach the membrain a little,I use a tomato shark.Then rub the ribs with the montreal seasoning.
  • Step 2
    Then put the rib in the smoker for one hour.I use oak wood, you can use what ever you have.
  • Step 3
    Then put the ribs flat in a pan and add the garlic, ancho, and fill half way with water. Then cover with Clingwrap,and Aluminum foil.
  • Step 4
    Place pan in the middle rack of oven. Cook at 350 for 2 1/2 hours.
  • Step 5
    When done open very carfully so you don't get burned. Let rest for about 15 minutes then sauce the ribs and put on the grill for 15 more minutes or until hot.
  • Step 6
    MMMMMMMMM!!!!!!!
