  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground ham
  • 1 lb
    ground pork
  • 1/3 c
    chopped onion
  • 3/4 c
    bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 2 large
    egggs beaten
  • 1 c

  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 25 small
    whole cloves
  • 1 large
    green pepper cut into strips

How to Make Joan's Hamloaf


  1. Mix together all the ham loaf and shape into a rectangle loaf and put all cloves on loaf.
  2. Grease a casserole dish or a large loaf pan.
  3. Mix together all topping ingredients and place in bottom of pan and place loaf on top cover and bake for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
