Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground ham
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 3/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 2 large egggs beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • TOPPING
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 25 small whole cloves
  • 1 large green pepper cut into strips

How To Make joan's hamloaf

  • Step 1
    Mix together all the ham loaf and shape into a rectangle loaf and put all cloves on loaf.
  • Step 2
    Grease a casserole dish or a large loaf pan.
  • Step 3
    Mix together all topping ingredients and place in bottom of pan and place loaf on top cover and bake for 1 hour or until knife comes out clean.
