pork chop

dried cubed bread
1 Tbsp
sage
1 small
onion (diced)
1/2 c
celery (diced)
1/2 c
applel (diced) i used gala
1/2 c
raisins
1 dash(es)
salt
1 dash(es)
pepper
2 Tbsp
butter
2 c
chicken broth

How to Make Iowa Chop And Dressing

Step-by-Step

  • 1Prepare Pork Chop by making a pocket by slicing toward bone.
  • 2Stir together bread cubes,onion,celery,apples,raisens,sage,and salt and pepper.
  • 3Heat chicken broth slightly in microwave add butter, stir till butter is melted.
  • 4Pour broth a little at a time over bread mixture.Stiring frequently till moist.
  • 5Spray baking dish. Put chop in baking dish.
  • 6Stuff pocket of chop with dressing add remaining dressing around chop.
  • 7Bake in 375 degree oven for 1 1/2 hour.
