Ingredients
- 1/4 cup dark brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 8-ounce - ham steak, 1/2-inch thick
- 1 tablespoon butter
How To Make ham steak with brown sugar and lime glaze

Step 1Whisk sugar and lime juice in small bowl to form paste; rub over both sides of ham steak.

Step 2Place ham on plate and refrigerate at least 1 hour and up to 3 hours (paste may liquefy).

Step 3Melt butter in medium skillet over medium heat.

Step 4Add ham to skillet with sugar paste still clinging and saute until brown and heated through, about 3 minutes per side.
