I tried this recipe with my chicken tenders, and thought, why not try it with pork chops. The pork chops were tender with a crispy crust.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pork chops
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 - 3 teaspoons season salt
  • 1 cup self-rising flour
  • 2 cups vegetable oil

How To Make fried mustard pork chops

  • Step 1
    Rinse pork chops and pat dry.
  • Step 2
    Cover pork chops with mustard.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle seasoning salt on both sides of the pork chops.
  • Step 4
    Flour both sides of the pork chops.
  • Step 5
    Heat oil to medium-high heat or 375 degrees F. Fry 3 minutes on one side.
  • Step 6
    Then turn over and fry 3 more minutes. Flip again and fry 1 more minute for a total of 7 minutes.
  • Step 7
    When done, place the pork chop on a wire rack and fry the remaining pork chops.
