Ingredients

  • DRY COUNTY DRY RUB (BASIC RECIPE)
  • 1/2 cup paprika
  • 1/2 cup kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder

How To Make dry county dry rub

  • Step 1
    Combine all the ingredients in a mason jar with a tight fitting lid. Close the lid and shake to blend. Rub into beef, poultry, pork, or fish before grilling.
  • Step 2
    CUSTOMIZE A PORTION OF YOUR RUB TO SUIT WHAT YOU ARE COOKING: Add things like cumin, cayenne, coriander, oregano, onion powder, chili powder, thyme, dried lemon zest, and even cloves. For pork ribs I add a little brown sugar.
