Pulled pork is one of our favorites. It is good as the entree, BBQ sandwich or as a pork taco. I have also made Brunswick stew with it. I usually freeze some after it is shredded for later.

    bbq pork rub
  • 3 lb
    pork butt
  • 1
    can of chicken broth
  • ·
    salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Delicious Pulled Pork, the easy way

Step-by-Step

  1. Season the pork by generously rubbing the meat with the rub.
  2. Place in a crock pot and pour half of the can of chicken broth around the meat.
  3. Bring the crock pot to a simmer by turning it on high. Reduce the heat to low and cook for about 6 hours. Remove from the pot and shred the meat with a fork. Remove all fat and serve your favorite way.
  4. This is good served with your favorite BBQ sauce.on a bun topped with cole slaw. It's a very southern way.
