crockpot spareribs
My husband found this recipe on Facebook & suggested I try it! There was a lot of grease in the sauce in crockpot, so I took a fellow JAP friends (Noreen) advice, which is the last step. Great idea! They turned out pretty good for the first time ever making spareribs!( took some to my mom the next day& she said"mmmmm, mmmmm, mmmmmm! Lol!) Already have a few tweaks in mind for next time.

Ingredients
- 1 - slab of spareribs, cut in half
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce, dark
- 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon liquid hickory smoke
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons garlic,minced
- - seasoning salt
- - white pepper
How To Make crockpot spareribs
-
Step 1Season both sides of ribs liberally with seasoning salt & white pepper, stack each piece in crockpot.
-
Step 2Mix remaining ingredients in a bowl until well blended. Add whatever additional spices you like.
-
Step 3Pour over ribs & cover. Cook on low 8-9 hours.(I occasionally swapped the slabs, so both pieces would be covered in the sauce. When they start falling off the bone, they are done.
-
Step 4Take ribs out of sauce &place on a foil lined baking sheet. Top with fresh BBQ sauce( homemade or bottled), put in oven on broil, just to get the sauce sticky.(watch carefully so you don't burn.)
