What a tasty way to cross the border and not leave your house! Add fresh veggies and sour cream to the tortilla and then add the meat. Yum!

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds boneless pork shoulder roast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 small bay leaves
  • 1 can chicken broth
  • 1 bag tortillas (flour)

How To Make crock pot carnitas

  • Step 1
    Place bay leaves in the bottom of the crock pot. Mix all spices together. Coat one side of roast with spices & place on top of leaves & sprinkle the rest of the spices on roast. Pour broth around the sides of the roast, careful not to wash off spices. Cover and cook on low for 9 hours. Remove and shred with a fork. Use liquid as needed to moisten meat. Fill tortillas with whatever fixings you like.
