Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

  • 4 lb
    boneless pork shoulder roast
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 tsp
    ground cumin
  • 1 tsp
    coriander
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 2 small
    bay leaves
  • 1 can(s)
    chicken broth
  • 1 bag(s)
    tortillas (flour)

How to Make Crock Pot Carnitas

Step-by-Step

  1. Place bay leaves in the bottom of the crock pot. Mix all spices together. Coat one side of roast with spices & place on top of leaves & sprinkle the rest of the spices on roast. Pour broth around the sides of the roast, careful not to wash off spices. Cover and cook on low for 9 hours. Remove and shred with a fork. Use liquid as needed to moisten meat. Fill tortillas with whatever fixings you like.
