creamy ham n swiss noodle bake

Still using up ham from Easter...this recipe is a delicious family favorite...I have at times used other veggies in the casserole as well...it's delicious with or without...make it your own...I think you will love it! Quick to put together is always a plus! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces egg noodles, prepare according to package - drain and rinse
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 - green pepper, chopped
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 2 cups cooked ham, cubed
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 2 - 10 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 8 - 10 ounces shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper

How To Make creamy ham n swiss noodle bake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Grease a 3 quart casserole dish. In a medium skillet brown onions and pepper in butter until soft. In a bowl, mix soups with sour cream, stir in pepper, onion mixture and ham.
  • Step 2
    Spread a small amount of soup mixture to bottom of casserole. Layer half of noodles, cheese, and soup mixture. Repeat again, ending with cheese. I sprinkle with pepper and paprika. Bake uncovered for 45 - 50 minutes, or until golden and bubbly. Serve with your favorite vegetable...
