country pork ribs - my way

Another delicious rib recipe I threw together...they were very tasty...lots of flavor...finger lickin good! Enjoy! My photos

Ingredients

  • 5 pounds boneless, country ribs
  • - salt and pepper
  • several - sprinkles onion powder
  • 1 - lemon, sliced - used a mandolin
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced - i used from a jar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes - optional
  • few drops - hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons celery seed
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder

How To Make country pork ribs - my way

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 450 degree F. Season both sides of ribs with salt, pepper and onion powder.
  • Step 2
    Spread into a shallow baking pan or dish.
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle onion and lemon atop the ribs.
  • Step 4
    Bake for 45 minutes. Last 5 minuted of baking; combine all other ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Drain liquid from ribs.
  • Step 5
    Pour the sauce over the ribs. Reduce oven to 350...bake for 1 - 1 1/2 hours longer, or until desired tenderness.
  • Step 6
