chili barbecued ribs
In the picture we used country style ribs. This sauce goes really well on pork or beef ribs!

Ingredients
- 2 - slabs back ribs or country ribs if you'd like.
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- - salt to taste
- - black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon prepared mustard (i like to use honey mustard)
- 1/2 cup minced onion
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup steak sauce
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
How To Make chili barbecued ribs

Step 1Directions for Back or Spare ribs, Cut into serving size pieces.

Step 2Sprinkle ribs with garlic powder, salt and pepper, then baste with mustard.

Step 3Bake ribs in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

Step 4Brush ribs with sauce Turn on broiler and cook until sauce caramelizes a bit.

Step 5For Country Ribs, Sprinkle ribs with garlic powder, salt and pepper, then baste with mustard.

Step 6Preheat your oven to 300°F. and place in a single layer in your pan, fattier side up.

Step 7Cover the pan tightly with foil and bake for 3 hours.

Step 8Carefully remove ribs from the oven. (steam and liquid in the tray will be hot!) Drain off liquid.

Step 9Place ribs on a broiler pan and brush with sacue. Place under broiler just until sauce is caramelized. Turn over ribs and repeat with the other side.

Step 10Serve with extra sauce for dipping.

Step 11For the Sauce, Heat butter in a small sauce pan and saute minced onions until softened. Add remaining sauce ingredients and simmer 5 minutes.
