How To Make cajun honey-mustard pork chops
-
Step 1Cut 2 yellow onions into rings. Melt 3 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil in a pan. Sauté onions until very soft. Put in a small bowl and keep to the side for later in the process.
-
Step 2Melt remaining butter and olive oil in same pan that onions were previously in. Add pork chops and brown. Add mustard and honey. Add Cajun seasoning as well as salt and pepper to taste. Add sautéed onions. Add water and cook until meat is tender and a gravy is formed, stirring occasionally.
-
Step 3Serve over mashed potatoes or with noodles or rice. We like ours best with mashed potatoes!
