I was cleaning out my refrigerator and found 2 sausage links, a green pepper, some scallions. So I thought I would make a pasta dish. I cooked all ingredients and pasta. Served it hot. We think it was really good for a fast meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium sausage links with casing taken off
  • 1/2 medium green pepper diced
  • 4 medium scallions, diced
  • 1 can 14.0 oz. diced tomatoes
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • - salt & pepper to taste
  • box 1 pound box of bow tie pasta
  • - sprinkel parmesan cheese on top if desired before servimg

How To Make bow tie pasta

  • Step 1
    Take the casing off the sausage and break into pieces into a skillet.
  • Finished dish
    Step 2
    Heat on medium heat until sausage is cooked brown.
  • Step 3
    Add pepper, onion, tomatoes and heat until a soft boil starts. Cook for about 20 minutes or until vegetables are softened
  • Step 4
    Lower heat and add butter, salt & pepper and simmer.
  • Step 5
    Add pasta to boiling water and cook until tested tender. Drain pasta and add to sauce.
  • Step 6
    Stir until pasta is cover with sauce and serve hot.
  • Step 7
    Sprinkle parmesan chess over pasta if desired.
