bacon cheesebuger meatloaf

This one happened by accident. I was having a bad day & was joking about going home, sit in my recliner, watch Netflix, & eat a bacon cheese burger the size of a meatloaf. By time I got home I decided why not make one that way (but for the whole family to enjoy. lol

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds lean hamburger
  • 1 package maple (or which evr you prefer) bacon
  • 1 package dry onion soup mix
  • 1~2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package hamburger buns (optional)

How To Make bacon cheesebuger meatloaf

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350
  • Step 2
    In large bowl mix hamburger, onion mix, & cheese.
  • Step 3
    Divide into hamburger in two loaves. Place loaf pans vertically in front of you. Line loaf pans horizontal w/ bacon. place hamburger in pans. Line bacon vertical across top & tuck edges of bacon in.
  • Step 4
    Bake uncovered for 45 mins. The last 15 mins cover w/ foils so bacon doesn't burn.
  • Step 5
    Remove from oven & cool for 5 mins. If you have excess grease, carefully drain before, slicing & serving.
  • Step 6
    You can serve as you would meatloaf, or you can serve it as you would a cheeseburger. Enjoy
