Best apple stuffed pork chops, in my opinion. So good, and not difficult to make. We bake, but I bet some of you cooks would put them on the grill, and that would be great too!

prep time 20 Min

method Bake
yield 4 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • 4 - 1 inch thick pork chops
  • 1 cup herbed stuffing mix
  • 1/3 cup finely chopped apple
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped raisins
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground pepper
  • - chicken stock as needed

How To Make apple stuffed pork chops

  • Step 1
Mix together all the ingredients for the stugffing. Add enough chicken stock to wet everything. Allow to sit for 15 minutes and add some more chicken stock if needed.* *If stuffing seems to wet -- squeeze like a sponge by handful to release some liquid.
  • Step 2
Cut a slit in the pork chops and stuff. Season with salt and pepper. Sear in hot sauté pan until caramelized. Cook through in a 400F oven until tender and temperature reaches 145 degrees.
