white chicken pizza
This is new addition to my recipe box. Very tasty and simple. I gave this to my neighbor and she loved it! Although it probably violated any number of dietary restrictions she is on. Who can I share my creations with?

Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 pound boneless chicken breast, cut in bite sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon italian seasoning, crushed
- 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced or minced
- 1 package prepared pizza crust (i like extra thin)
- 1/2 cup prego flavored with savory bacon alfredo sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup jarred roasted red peppers, rinsed, drained and chopped
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced fresh basil leaves
How To Make white chicken pizza

Step 1Heat the oven to 450F.

Step 2Heat the oil in a 10 inch skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until well browned and cooked through, stirring occasionally. Add 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning and the garlic and cook and stir for 1 minutes.

Step 3Place the pizza crust onto a baking sheet or pizza pan. Spread the sauce on the crust to within 1/2-inch of the edge. Layer with the chicken mixture, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese and peppers. Sprinkle with the remaining Italian seasoning.

Step 4Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheeses are melted. Sprinkle with the basil, if desired.

Step 5Easy Substitution: For White Shrimp Pizza, substitute 1/2 pound uncooked shrimp (31 to 40 count per pound), peeled, deveined and chopped, for the chicken. In Step 1, cook the shrimp for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning and the garlic and cook and stir for 1 minutes or until the shrimp are cooked through. Proceed as directed above.
