homemade deer pizza
Updated on Jun 12, 2014
My husband hunts, and we try to use wild game in most meals that we would normally use store bought meat in. I make 1/2 of the pizza without mushrooms and black olive, as some in our family don't like them.

How To Make homemade deer pizza
-
Step 1Cook deer meat and drain. Pour in a large bowl and mix together with, spaghetti sauce, mushrooms, olives, 2 cups of cheese, pepperoni (I chop it up a little), and any other ingredients your family might like on their pizza. Let this mixture set. Roll out crescent rolls onto a lightly greased sheet cake pan (I used a cooking stone), sprinkle 2 tsps. of garlic salt over crescent rolls. Cook crescent rolls 7-10 minutes in oven on recommended temperature on the package. Top with deer meat mixture, sprinkle rest of garlic salt on top of mixute, and top with remaining cheese. Bake about 30 minutes longer, or until crust is brown, and cheese is melted.
