    buttermilk biscuits
  • 2 lb
    ground beef
  • 1 lb
    italian pork sausage or regular pork sausage
  • 1 pkg
    pepperoni- slices
  • 1 jar(s)
    pizza sauce, spicy
  • 1 pkg
    pizza cheese
  • 1
    stick butter

How to Make Homemade Deep Dish Pizza


  1. PREHEAT Oven to 350
  2. In large skillet on medium high heat brown ground beef and sausage together until cooked,season with salt,pepper and garlic remove from heat and drain off excess fat
  3. Open can of biscuits and cover bottom of casserole dish with biscuits. pressing biscuits together until sides touch (more than one can may be required) Bake in preheated oven for about 10 mins or until biscuits begin to rise,Remove from oven
  4. Cover biscuits in bottom of dish with 1/2 of meat and pizza sauce. Put layer of pizza cheese on top
  5. put 2nd layer of meat and cheese along with pepperoni slices on top of first layer.
  6. Bake in oven until done (about 10 minutes) remove from oven top with remaining cheese, place back into oven until cheese melts (3 minutes or less)
