This dough works great for deep dish but can also be used for regular large pizzas (just requires a little more elbow grease when spreading out thin).

Ingredients

  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make easy pizza dough

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 450. In medium bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm water (no hotter than 140 degrees). Let stand until creamy (10 min).
  • Step 2
    Stir in flour, salt, water and oil. Blend until smooth and let rise for 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Turn dough out on lightly floured surface and kneed (doesn't need much). Roll out and top. Bake for 15-20 minutes.
