Ingredients

  • PIZZA DOUGH
  • 1 cup + 2 tblspn water
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • CREAMY GARLIC ONION SAUCE
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter divided
  • 2 cups milk (approx)
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • - salt & pepper to taste
  • PIZZA TOPPINGS
  • 6 - marinated artichokes cut in pieces
  • 1 pound bacon "partially" cooked
  • 2-3 - boneless skinless chicken breasts cooked through & sliced thin
  • 4-6 cups fresh spinach
  • 4-6 cups favorite grated cheese's

How To Make creamed garlic& onion artichoke pizza

  • Step 1
For the pizza dough~ Add spices (not the salt and sugar) to water and let set for several hours or over night (this makes all the difference in the world in the dough flavor). Place water, flour, sugar, salt and yeast into bread machine in this order and set to dough cycle. (this can be done by hand as well)
  • Step 2
For the sauce~ Fry onion & garlic in 1 tablespoon butter until onion is translucent, add the other tablespoon butter and 2 table spoons flour and mix with whisk, add milk and mix with whisk until it reaches your desired thickness, remove from heat, add salt and pepper to taste, run through blender until smooth. Set aside
  • Step 3
Pizza toppings~ Slice your artichokes, dice cooked bacon, dice your chicken breasts, grate your cheeses.
  • Step 4
Split your dough into 2 pieces, toss or roll out (I do not know how to toss pizza's!!) Place on pizza stones and spread sauce on, then toppings, bake in 400* oven for 15-20 minutes. If not using pizza stones I bake for about 5 minutes before adding toppings or the dough doesn't cook all the way through in the center.
