How to Make Creamed garlic& onion artichoke pizza

Step-by-Step

  1. For the pizza dough~
Add spices (not the salt and sugar) to water and let set for several hours or over night (this makes all the difference in the world in the dough flavor).
Place water, flour, sugar, salt and yeast into bread machine in this order and set to dough cycle. (this can be done by hand as well)
  2. For the sauce~
Fry onion & garlic in 1 tablespoon butter until onion is translucent, add the other tablespoon butter and 2 table spoons flour and mix with whisk, add milk and mix with whisk until it reaches your desired thickness, remove from heat, add salt and pepper to taste, run through blender until smooth. Set aside
  3. Pizza toppings~
Slice your artichokes, dice cooked bacon, dice your chicken breasts, grate your cheeses.
  4. Split your dough into 2 pieces, toss or roll out (I do not know how to toss pizza's!!)
Place on pizza stones and spread sauce on, then toppings, bake in 400* oven for 15-20 minutes.
If not using pizza stones I bake for about 5 minutes before adding toppings or the dough doesn't cook all the way through in the center.
