turkey and peppers goulash
This is a slight variation of one of my Mom's recipes with a little taste of home from Oliverio's. This is always a family favorite and larger batches make for great leftovers and party dishes. All you desire in a comfort food on one plate.

Ingredients
- 20 ounces ground turkey
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons italian seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 1 box pasta of your choice ( i prefer san giorgio trio italiano)
- 11 1/2 ounces v8 or tomato juice
- 16 ounces jar oliverio's italian peppers in sauce (i prefer medium but hot and sweet style are available)
- 8 ounces italian blend cheese
How To Make turkey and peppers goulash

Step 1Place olive oil, garlic and Italian seasoning in a 10 in pan Once heated, place ground turkey in pan and brown over medium heat until just done Drain off excess fat

Step 2Return turkey to stove and reduce heat Add V8/Tomato juice and Oliverio Peppers to ground turkey and simmer on low heat for 15 minutes

Step 3Cook Pasta according to the directions on the package.

Step 4In a separate bowl, sprinkle ½ of the Italian blend cheese Once pasta is done cooking, drain and then pour ½ of the pasta on top of the cheese. Pour ½ of the ground turkey mixture in on top of the pasta and cheese and mix Add second ½ of the cheese, pasta and ground turkey mixture to the bowl and mix until the cheese is melted and it is well mixed.
