This is NOT a low calorie dish. It is possibly 1200 calories a serving. Just wanted to point that out. However, it is SO worth the calories once in a while.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    velveeta cheese cubed
  • 1/2 lb
    colby cheese shredded
  • 1/2 lb
    cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 lb
    monterey jack cheese shredded
  • 2 stick
    butter cubed
  • 3
    eggs beaten
  • 1 c
    whole milk
  • 1 box
    elbow macaroni, cooked
  • 2 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • 1 can(s)
    evaporated milk
  • 1/2 lb
    mild cheddar cheese
  • 1 Tbsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    sugar

How to Make The best Mac N Cheese you've ever tasted

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 and spray a 13x9x2 inch pan(or even a 15 inch pan is better) with cooking spray
  2. Put cooked macaroni into dish. Add cubed butter, velveeta, colby, cheddar, jack, salt, pepper, sugar and incorporate well.
  3. Take sour cream and dolop it around. Beat eggs and add whole milk and evaporated milk. Pour this over the entire dish.
  4. Sprinkle mild cheddar over entire top of dish. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until top is melted (the longer you cook, the browner the top will be. This is a matter of taste. Serve hot. But you can also freeze this and microwave another day, and it's almost just as good.
