    olive oil
  • 6 oz
    canned chopped clams
  • 1 qt
    canned tomatoes
  • ·
    black pepper
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped parsley
  • 1/2 lb

How to Make Spaghetti with Clam Sauce


  1. Brown garlic clove in olive oil and discard it. Drain the clams, saving juice. Add tomatoes, 5 Tablespoons of clam juice, 2 or 3 twists of the pepper mill to the oil in the pan.
  2. Cook uncovered for 15 minutes or till nearly sauce consistency. Add clams and cook 5 minutes. Add parsley and cook 1 minute. Serve on cooked pasta.
