Spaghetti and Meatballs part 2 (sauce)

If you want meatballs, you can use my recipe for them , or you can use store bought frozen meatballs. (Just thaw them before adding to the sauce.)

  • 1 (29 oz.) can(s)
    tomato sauce
  • 1 can(s)
    italian diced tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 2 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 16 oz
    spaghetti, dry

How to Make Spaghetti and Meatballs part 2 (sauce)


  1. Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
  2. Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.
  3. **If desired: add cooked meatballs . If you do add meatballs stir gently so as not to break up the balls.
  4. While sauce is cooking, prepare spaghetti according to directions. Drain.
  5. Serve sauce over the spaghetti.
