If you want meatballs, you can use my recipe for them , or you can use store bought frozen meatballs. (Just thaw them before adding to the sauce.)

Ingredients For spaghetti and meatballs part 2 (sauce)

  • 1 (29 oz.) can
    tomato sauce
  • 1 can
    italian diced tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp
    oregano
  • 2 Tbsp
    parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    basil
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 16 oz
    spaghetti, dry

How To Make spaghetti and meatballs part 2 (sauce)

    Combine all ingredients in a large pot.

    Simmer over low heat for 30 minutes. Stir occasionally.

    **If desired: add cooked meatballs . If you do add meatballs stir gently so as not to break up the balls.

    While sauce is cooking, prepare spaghetti according to directions. Drain.
  • 5
    Serve sauce over the spaghetti.
