Ingredients
- 1-16 oz box penne pasta
- 2-15 oz cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup vodka
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated pecorino romano or parmesan cheese
- - salt and coarsely ground black pepper to taste
How To Make penne with creamy vodka sauce

Step 1Cook the penne according to the package directions, drain and keep warm.

Step 2Combine the tomato sauce and vodka in a large saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5 minutes.

Step 3Decrease the heat to low and stir in the cream. Simmer for 1 minute to heat through.

Step 4Add the cooked penne and the cheese and cook for 1 minute to heat through. Remove from the heat and season to taste with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
