This is similar to a mac and cheese bake. It is tasty and warmly delicious!

  • 1 pkg
    laughing cow swiss cheese
  • 1/4 c
    country crock spread (or butter)
  • 3 1/2 c
    milk, skim
  • 1/4 c
    wheat flower
  • 1 c
    cottage cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
  • 1 c
    ham, diced
  • 1 tsp
    seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • dash
    salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 c
    shredded cheese
  • grated parmesan cheese to top recipe

How To Make

    In a microwavable mixing bowl, combine laughing cow cheese, butter spread, milk and wheat flour. Heat at 80% power for 3-4 minutes, until bubbly.

    Whisk ingredients till smooth. Continue heating for an additional 2 minutes until mixture thickens.

    Add in cottage cheese, pasta, mustard, ham, seasoned salt, garlic powder and shredded cheese. Mix together.

    Pour into a lightly greased 8x8 baking dish. Bake at 400 degrees F for 45-50 minutes, until pasta is tender.

    Top with parmesan and enjoy!

    Options: 1)You can top the mixture with breadcrumbs before baking. 2) You may want to decrease the amount of mustard if it is too strong for your tastes. 3) I often use almond milk in this recipe for a nutty richness.
