my pasta salad

When I lived in Boulder, CO, I went to a restaurant and ordered the pasta salad. I liked it so much that I went home and tried to re-create what I remembered it tasting like (I was not a pasta eater at the time). This is very close to the dish I had, only with my twist. I like my salad a bit on the dry side. The one at the restaurant had a lot of liquid in it.

Ingredients

  • package 1 small package of tri-color pasta
  • can 1 small can (2.3 oz) sliced black olives
  • jar 1 small jar of green olives w/pimentos
  • stalk 3 stalks green onions, chopped
  • tablespoon 1 -2 tbls mayonnaise
  • tablespoon italian salad dressing to taste.
  • package 1 package imitation crab chunks

How To Make my pasta salad

  • Step 1
    Cook the pasta according to the directions.
  • Step 2
    After pasta has cooled, put in a large bowl (or use the pan the pasta was cooked in). Then add the other ingredients. Blend well and add the Italian dressing...start with one tablespoon and add as needed.
  • Step 3
    Place in fridge for about 30 minutes and then it is ready.
