- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 package low-sodium taco seasoning
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 14-16 - jumbo pasta shells
- 1 1/2 cups salsa
- 1 cup taco sauce
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup monterey jack cheese, shredded
- 3 - green onions, chopped
- - sour cream
How To Make mexican stuffed shells

Step 1IN A FRYING PAN, COOK GROUND BEEF, ADD TACO SEASONING AND PREPARE ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS.

Step 2ADD CREAM CHEESE, COVER AND SIMMER UNTIL CHEESE IS MELTED.

Step 3BLEND WELL. SET ASIDE AND COOL COMPLETELY.

Step 4COOK THE PASTA SHELLS ACCORDING TO DIRECTIONS, DRAIN. SET SHELLS OUT INDIVIDUALLY ON CUTTING BOARD/BAKING SHEET SO THAT THEY DON'T STICK TOGETHER.

Step 5POUR SALSA ON BOTTOM OF 9x13 BAKING DISH

Step 6STUFF EACH SHELL WITH THE MEAT MIXTURE. PLACE SHELLS IN THE 9x13 BAKING DISH OPEN SIDE UP.

Step 7COVER SHELLS WITH TACO SAUCE.

Step 8COVER WITH FOIL AND BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES.

Step 9AFTER 30 MINUTES, REMOVE THE FOIL AND ADD SHREDDED CHEESES. BAKE FOR 10-15 MINUTES MORE.

Step 10TOP WITH ANY CONDIMENTS YOU'D LIKE (GREEN ONIONS, BLACK OLIVES, ETC.)
