1Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions.
2Melt the butter in a small sauce pan. Add the flour and cook over medium heat for one minute, stirring constantly.
3Gradually stir in the milk. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and bubbly (gradually turn up the heat if the mixture does not thicken).
4Remove from heat, add cheese, and stir until melted. Add the sauce to the macaroni. Add salt, pepper, and/or paprika to taste.
