luscious lasagna
I've been making this recipe for years and it's a family favorite. I'm not a fan of ricotta cheese so I use cottage cheese instead. I hope your family enjoys this dish, too.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 - lbs. ground beef
- 3/4 - cup chopped onion
- 1 - garlic clove, minced
- 1 - 16 oz. can tomatoes
- 1 - 15 oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 - tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1-2 - tbsp. sugar, according to taste
- 1 - tsp. salt
- 1 - tsp. basil
- 24 - oz. small curd cottage cheese
- 1/2 - cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 - tsp. parsley flakes
- 1 1/2 - tsp. salt
- 1 - slightly rounded tsp. oregano
- 1 - box lasagna noodles
- 3/4 - lb. mozzerella cheese slices
- 1/2 - cup grated parmesan cheese
How To Make luscious lasagna

Step 1Brown ground beef, adding onion, garlic, parsley, salt and basil. Mix tomatoes, tomato sauce and sugar. Add to meat mixture and stir well. Simmer for 20 min.

Step 2While that cooks, prepare cottage cheese mixture. Cook noodles and drain.

Step 3In a 13x9 baking dish, begin with layer of noodles, then a layer of cottage cheese mixture, mozzerella cheese, parmesan cheese, then begin with another layer of same. Cover and bake at 350 for 45 min.
