Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 3/4 cup onion
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cans tomato paste (6 oz. cans)
  • 1 can tomatoes
  • 2 cups water
  • tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/2 package lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound cottage cheese
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 cup grated parmesan cheese

How To Make lasagne

  • Step 1
    in large pan lightly brown beef and onions . drain grease.
  • Step 2
    add oil, tomatoes,tomato paste,water, parsley, salt, sugar,garlic powder,pepper, and oregano. simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally for 45 min.
  • Step 3
    meanwhile cook noodles as the directions say, drain.
  • Step 4
    in 13x9x2 baking pan spread about 1 cup of the sauce in bottom of pan. then alternate layers of noodles, sauce cottage cheese, mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
  • Step 5
    bake at 350 degrees for 40 min.
