italian sausage dinner
this is basically my fathers clam sauce recipe that I switched out the clams for italian sausage and added some sun dried tomatoes. It was delicious 8]

Ingredients
- 2 pounds bulk italian sausage browned and drained
- 1 large onion diced
- 3 teaspoons minced garlic
- 3 teaspoons basil, dried
- 2 teaspoons oregano, dried
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil, extra virgin
- 4 ounces sun dried tomato chopped
- 8 ounces mushrooms, canned drained
- 1/2 cup portabella mushrooms sliced
- 32 ounces chicken broth
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch mixed with 1/2 cup water
- 2 - bay leaves, dried
How To Make italian sausage dinner

Step 1In a large skillet brown italian sausage, drain and set aside.

Step 2In another skillet heat olive oil and add onion, garlic, basil, oregano, tomatoes,mushrooms, salt and pepper. saute until onions are translucent and mushrooms are tender.

Step 3add chicken broth and bay leaves and simmer 5 to 10 minutes add italian sausage and simmer a few minutes, add the cornstarch and water and stir in and stir and continue to simmer until thickened

Step 4serve over pasta of your choice with parmesan and some mozzarella cheese, and enjoy 8]
